Over the last decade, I have worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer. During this time, I have gained extensive experience and knowledge on preparing athletes to perform at their optimum level and assisting individuals to lose weight and reach their fitness goals.
As the game of golf continues to develop at all levels, we all want to make sure we keep our golf games consistent and efficient as possible and continue to compete in the sport. Working with a golf professional is a great way to improve your technique and develop your swing, however, this is just one piece in the jigsaw, to improving your golf game. Understanding fitness and movement is becoming an integral part of most golfers training and preparation. With this in mind, we aim to work together to help bring you a complete golf training experience by identifying any movement or swing limitations and working as a team to develop a more consistent and efficient golf swing. To do this, we are excited to offer our TPI functional Movement Screening and Golf specific fitness training.
What is TPI?
Developed by the Titleist Performance Institute, The TPI certification gives qualified instructors the ability to carry out functional movement screenings and body swing analysis on golfers, of all levels and abilities. This screen can identify any possible limitations of movement that a player may have and help detect ways in which their movement can be developed to improve their swing efficiency. Resulting in increased yardage, better ball direction and more consistent ball control.
